It seems that many people who still use Windows XP are getting a little nervous as the Operating System will not be available to buy in the stores soon and that means that there will no longer be anymore support. However; Microsoft has tried to calm people down by reminding people that Windows XP support will be available until 2014.

Jared Proudfoot one of the managers from Microsoft’s support lifecycle group has said “Recently, there have been a number of posts in the blogosphere about Windows XP and the upcoming end of direct OEM and retail license availability,” he also added “Some people are interpreting this as the end of support for Windows XP.”

So the mainstream support will go on until April 14, 2009 which will offer free fixes as well as security patches. The extended support lasting until April 8, 2014 will offer just security updates. This would mean that Windows XP will be 13 years old once the support comes to an end; this is not something that did not happen with previous Windows operating systems.

I am so thankful of this as it gives me just a little longer with XP, before I have to make the choice and switch over to Windows Vista.

The VW Passat R36 is the most powerful from Volkswagen yet and is now on sale in the UK, this is almost a year after we first heard about the car. There will be two versions a sedan or saloon as they are called in the UK and a Wagon otherwise known as an estate. The new VW Passat R36 features Volkswagen’s new 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system which helps to distribute the 300hp evenly and perfectly.

VW claim that the Passat R36 will go from 0 to 100 (62) in 5.6 seconds with the wagon being just a fraction under that time and will then power up to 155 mph. The new Passet is not all about power as that would not be enough to make it a great car; the R36 has a unique body kit as well as a new chrome grille. Other enhancements include new brake calipers which give the car more stopping power as well as new 18-inch rims. To give the VW Passat R36 a sportier look there is an aluminum dash as well as matching pedals and sill plates.

The new VW Passat R36 will cost £30,990 base-price, for just a little more you could get yourself an Audi but not with 300hp. The wagon model will cost £32,150 and is worth the little extra as you only lose a little power but gain more in how much more space the vehicle has.

Created by EmmanuelMFr of France’s Total Immersion, the illusions in the video really are reminiscent of those in the game. Using his company’s D’FUSION software, he was able to swap the images on each virtual screen surface in real time, including full 3-dimensional transformations.

I had to watch the video several times before I really understood what was going on, but once you do, you’ll be scratching your head asking how the heck exactly they did that.

A produtora foi a responsável pelo lançamento do vídeo envolvendo Pamela Anderson e Tommy Lee, nos anos 90.

Kathy Etchingham, uma ex-namorada de Jimi dos anos 60, diz que não é ele no vídeo. ” Seu rosto e nariz estão muito largo. Também o cabelo está muito baixo na testa.”, afirmou ela. Já Cynthia Albritton, conhecida por fazer moldes de gesso dos órgãos genitais das estrelas de rock, incluindo Hendrix em 1968, afirmou que se trata do guitarrista mesmo.

“Estou com 100% de certeza que é ele. A estrutura óssea facial é a mesma. As sobrancelhas e o bigode são fiéis ao estilo que ele usava em 1970.”

Jimi Hendrix faleceu em 18 de setembro de 1970, em Londres, após ter tomado nove pílulas para dormir e se asfixiando em seu próprio vômito.
